Technique: Hand blown glass, hand painted on the inside.
Please be aware: The bottom of each chime is left jagged on purpose so that it creates different sounds depending on where the striker hits the glass.
These are traditional Japanese glass bells, made by Shinohara Furin Honpo which is run by the same family for generations.
Japan’s Edo period was between 1603 and 1867.
