This shaker produces a range of effects.
When cupped in the hands and gently rustled, they produce the rain-like sound for which they are named – great for teaching kids to play gently. They can also be shaken for a more traditional and louder sound.
The thick, polished pods are a type of hazelnut from the Sterculia family of trees which grow in central Ghana.

Their unique earthy organic sounds makes them wonderful addition to any kind of music.
