Description

Find yourself in the sweet sounds of Amazing Grace with this bestselling wind chime.

A favourite amongst the Woodstock collection, this wind chime is tuned to the tones of Amazing Grace, one of America’s best-loved hymns.

The Woodstock chime is a beautiful, high-quality wind chime designed and handcrafted for excellent musical performance and longevity. It is carefully hand-tuned to a universal pentatonic (5-note) scale.

The anodised aluminium tubes ensure they won’t rust, while the eco-friendly wood finish helps protect from the elements.

An ideal gift for garden (and music) lovers, the wind chime comes with a removable windcatcher that can be engraved/silk screened for personalisation by your local engraver/printer.

Instructions: Hang your wind chime outdoors, away from the harsher elements, in a protected area (such as a veranda or under an awning). Let the chime gently play in concert with the breeze, and allow the soft sounds to soothe your soul.

About Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace is one of America’s best-loved hymns. Written by English Claude Newman and poet John Newton as a young man in 1772, and published in 1779, it has played an important role in the Civil War, the Civil Rights movement, 9/11 and drug and alcohol recovery.

Newton wrote the words from personal experience. In 1748, while at sea, a violent storm battered his vessel off the coast of County Donegal, Ireland. Utterly frightened, he called out to God for mercy and survived the storm. Newton wrote the hymn as a heartfelt expression to God.

‘Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.’
